CONFERENCE OBJECTIVE

For the last number of years councils have been working with the Local Government Staff Commission to develop a People and Organisation Development Strategic Framework for the sector.  With the reform of local government, it is important that this Strategy reflects the changing needs and priorities within the sector.

The objective of this one day conference is to help re-focus the various components of the Strategy which will be issued in revised form for consideration by the 11 new councils in December 2014 – January 2015.
